Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how InGen AI Company, LLC ("InGen," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use InGen Marketing and the Ginny AI marketing assistant, including InGen OS and all related services (the "Platform").
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Registration Information
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address, company name and industry, a description of your products or services, your target market and customer information, your current marketing activities and goals, and your primary marketing challenges. Ginny uses this information to understand your business and deliver personalized marketing strategy and content.
1.2 Conversation and Content Data
Conversations between you and Ginny are recorded and stored, including the messages you send, Ginny's responses and generated content, files and images shared during conversations, actions Ginny takes on your behalf (research, content creation, scheduling), and session timestamps.
1.3 Platform Usage Data
We collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including pages visited, features used, content approvals and edits, calendar and scheduling activity, and asset management activity.
1.4 Connected Social Media Accounts (Facebook and Instagram)
When you choose to connect a Facebook Page or an Instagram Business account that you own or administer, we access and store only the information required to publish and manage content on your behalf. Specifically:
- The list of Facebook Pages you manage, so you can select the correct Page to connect (
pages_show_list). - Basic Page and Instagram profile and engagement information, so we can confirm that posts published successfully and show you simple performance data (
pages_read_engagement,instagram_basic). - The access tokens needed to publish approved posts to your Page and linked Instagram Business account (
pages_manage_posts,instagram_content_publish). - Comments on posts we published, so you can view and respond to them from your dashboard (
instagram_manage_comments). - Business portfolio associations required to resolve Pages owned by a Meta Business portfolio (
business_management).
We access this data only for accounts you connect yourself, and only to provide the publishing and content-management features you have requested. We do not use Facebook or Instagram data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties. You may disconnect your Facebook and Instagram accounts at any time from your dashboard, which revokes our access and removes the stored tokens.
1.5 Payment Information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. InGen does not directly store your credit card or banking information. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for details.

3. Data Isolation and Security
3.1 Per-Client Isolation
Your data is completely isolated from all other clients. Each account operates in its own secure environment with a dedicated Ginny instance, isolated data storage, and session-scoped access controls. No other client can access your data, and your data is never used to train or inform services for other clients.
3.2 Infrastructure Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted credential storage (AES-256), authentication on all API endpoints, and regular security monitoring. Facebook and Instagram access tokens are stored encrypted.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- AI Providers — Your conversations are sent to your chosen AI provider (e.g., Anthropic) to generate responses. Their privacy policy governs their handling of that data.
- Meta Platforms — When you publish content, the necessary requests are sent to Facebook and Instagram (Meta) via their official Graph API to post on your behalf.
- Payment Processing — Stripe processes your subscription payments; only billing-necessary information is shared.
- Legal Requirements — We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order.
We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies for marketing or commercial purposes.
5. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data is retained for the duration of your subscription.
- After cancellation: You may request a full export within 30 days. After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted.
- Connected social accounts: Facebook and Instagram access tokens are removed immediately when you disconnect an account or terminate your account.
- Backups: Encrypted backups may retain data for up to 90 days for disaster recovery, after which they are purged.
